Secaucus Building Sold for $47M

Harbor Group International of Norfolk, Va., announced on Nov. 21 it paid about $47 million for 100 Plaza Drive in Secaucus from fellow real estate investor Hartz Mountain, also of Secaucus.

Park Square Bought for $46.5M

Real estate firm Mack-Cali Realty in Edison announced on Nov. 21 its acquisition of apartment building operator Park Square in Rahway, for about $46.5 million.

Trenton Hotel Sold at Auction

The city of Trenton announced its Lafayette Yard Hotel was sold on Nov. 25 in auction to media company Edison Broadcasting of New York City for $6 million.

Axion Acquires Y City Recycling

Axion International Holdings in New Providence announced on Dec. 3 its acquisition of Y City Recycling of Zanesville, Ohio. Both provide plastics recycling services.

CircuLite Acquired by HeartWare

HeartWare International of Framingham, Mass., on Dec. 1 announced its acquisition of CircuLite Inc. in Teaneck. Both make products for chronic heart failure patients.

Mindlance Life Sciences Acquired

Mindlance Inc., a technology company in Hoboken, announced on Nov. 26 its subsidiary, Mindlance Life Sciences, also in Hoboken, has been acquired by IT consulting firm Cumberland Consulting Group in Franklin, Tenn.

Mobility Effect Inc. Acquired

Mobiquity Inc., a mobile-solutions provider in Wellesley, Mass., on Nov. 22 announced it has acquired mobile application developer Mobility Effect Inc. in Mount Laurel.
